Calendar Integration
Spolog offers powerful calendar features to help you easily manage all your training and match schedules, with seamless synchronization to your phone's system calendar. Combined with the family feature, you can keep track of your whole family's sports schedules in a single calendar.
Visual Calendar
We provide a visual and interactive calendar interface to give you a clear overview of your schedule.
- Month/Week View Switching: Freely switch between month and week modes to view your schedule in the way that suits you best.
- Activity Type Filter: Next to the month/week view toggle buttons, you can cycle through three states: show only matches, only training sessions, or all activities, allowing you to focus on specific types of schedule arrangements.
- Activity Markers: Colored dots to the right of each date indicate the number of activities (up to 6 dots, with "..." for more), one dot per activity. Important matches are additionally marked with a gold star ★ on the left side of the date.
- Today & Selection: Today is highlighted with blue text and background. Selected dates show a red border with a subtle zoom effect, and you can swipe left or right to quickly switch to the previous or next month/week.
Dynamic Timeline
Click on any date to see a detailed schedule of all activities for that day on the timeline below.
- Precise Positioning: The timeline accurately calculates the position and height of each activity card based on its start and end times.
- Overlap Handling: When multiple activities overlap, the cards are automatically arranged side-by-side to avoid obstruction, giving you a clear view of your schedule.
- Rich Information: Timeline cards show the activity type badge, status (confirmed/pending/cancelled/completed/rescheduled), gathering time, and venue. Completed matches also show win/loss and the score.
- Tap for Details: Tap any activity card to open the corresponding match or training detail page.
- Long-Press to Duplicate: Long-press an activity card for 1 second to quickly duplicate that match or training and create a new activity with the same details (the date resets to today).
- No-Activity Prompt: If there are no activities on the selected date, a clear message guides you to add one from the "+" button.
Quick Add
Tap the "+" button in the top-right corner of the calendar to create activities directly, automatically carrying over your currently selected date:
- Four Activity Types: Match, group training, personal training, and self training, chosen directly from the menu.
- Pre-filled Date: The creation form is pre-filled with the date you selected on the calendar, saving you from manual input.
Family Schedule Integration
If your children have joined your family, their match and training schedules appear in your calendar too:
- Mixed Sorting: Your children's activities are merged and sorted by time alongside your own, displayed on the same day's timeline.
- Per-Person Fixed Colors: Date dots, timeline cards, and date backgrounds are colored by "whose activity it belongs to" - you are blue, and each child has a dedicated fixed color, so you can tell at a glance.
- Per-Child Toggle: In Settings → Family Management → Manage Children, you can individually enable or disable "Show on Home & Calendar" for each child.
- Read-Only View: Tapping a child's activity opens a read-only detail page; parents cannot modify children's data.
Seamless Sync
Spolog stays in sync with your phone's system calendar to ensure your schedule is always up-to-date.
- System Calendar Integration: Turn on "Sync System Calendar" in Settings and Spolog creates a "Spolog" calendar on your device, automatically syncing all existing and new matches and training sessions.
- Synced Content: Titles, times, venues, and notes of matches and training sessions are synced. When you turn sync off, Spolog events are removed from the calendar.
- Event Start Time: In Settings, choose whether "Calendar events start at" uses "Match Time" or "Gathering Time" to control when events appear on the calendar.
- One-Tap Return to App: Tap a Spolog event in Apple Calendar to open the app and jump directly to the corresponding match or training detail page.
