Venue Information

Record and manage your frequently used sports venues, including location, facilities, and personal notes. Venues are an integral part of Spolog, closely linked with matches, training, and coaches.

Centralized Management

• Venue List: View, search, add, and edit all your venues in one place through the "Venue Management" section in Settings.
• Grouped Browsing: The category buttons at the top of the list group venues by "All / Favorites / Region / Type / Sport". Region mode sections venues by country → city, and Favorites mode separates "Favorite Venues" from "Other Venues" for quick browsing.
• Favorites: Bookmark frequently used venues; they are sorted first ("Favorites Priority") in the venue picker for quick selection.
• Duplicate Cleanup: The "-" button in the top-right corner scans for venues with the same name and, after confirmation, merges them by keeping the earliest-created one, keeping your list tidy.
• Limit Reminders: The number of venues depends on your subscription plan (Free 30, Basic 100, Pro 200, Premium 500). When you reach the limit, the app prompts you to upgrade.

Import from Maps

• Share to Import: When you find a location in Google Maps or another map app, share it to Spolog. The app automatically captures the location's details so you can save it as a new venue with one tap.
• Input Confirmation: A confirmation screen lets you review or edit the venue name, address, country, city, and notes before saving. Short URLs (like maps.app.goo.gl) are resolved automatically.
• Link Extraction: When adding or editing a venue, paste a Google Maps link and tap "Extract Info from Link" to automatically fill in the address, coordinates, city, and country.
• Duplicate Check: The app warns you if a venue with the same name already exists, helping you avoid duplicates.

Quick Add & Link to Events

• Quick Add: When creating a match or training session, select from your existing venues or create a new one on the spot without navigating away.
• Link to Events: Associate each match and training session with a specific venue to make your records more complete and easier to search later.
• Auto-Filled Field Type: When you select a venue for a match, the app automatically carries over its field type (natural grass, artificial turf, hard court, etc.), saving you from re-entering it.
• Coach's Default Venue: Set a primary training venue for your coaches. When scheduling a personal training session, the app intelligently asks if you want to use the coach's default venue, simplifying the process.

Map Mode

Tap the "Map Mode" toggle on the venue list page to switch to a map view, letting you see the geographical distribution of all your sports venues at a glance.

• Colored Pins: Venues are marked with pins that are colored by status or grouping mode - favorite venues show a yellow star and regular venues blue; Region mode uses 12 colors to distinguish countries/cities; Type mode colors by field type.
• Quick Look: Tap a pin to open a bottom info card showing the venue name, address, field type, and accumulated match count, with "Navigate", "View Details" buttons and a favorite toggle.
• One-Tap Navigation: Open the navigation link directly from the venue detail page or the map info card to get directions to the venue.

Share Venue Info

Tap the share button on the venue detail page to generate text containing the venue name, address, navigation link, and notes, easy to share with teammates or coaches.
